As soon as my dial hit 88.3, KAFR, on the FM dial in Houston, I knew what was being said was, to say the least, not at all near the truth. The day is August 27, 2012, and I was on my way to work. Scanning the radio for some interesting talk, I stopped it on Bryan Fischer’s show on American Family Radio. Now a word or two or more must be said about the host organization for the programming on 88.3 radio. This is not just Christian radio, which neither I nor anybody in their right mind should have a problem with. There are in fact many great Christian radio stations out there which have not latched onto the far-right truth-twisting mavens of madness. Here, however, the radio is purposefully as full of hatred and vehemence as any in emotionally-fuelled vision.
